Photos: Meet The First Amputee To Walk The New York Fashion Week Runway

This year's New York Fashion Week is definitely breaking barriers as models in wheelchairs and the world's first male amputee to hit the catwalk are among those taking to the runway.

The FTL Moda Loving You AW15 Show, which featured international designers with a 'Made in Italy' theme, was held in collaboration with Fondazione Vertical, an Italian foundation supporting research to find a cure for spinal cord injuries.

Many of the physically challenged models said they were so excited to be part of this event as it all seemed so surreal. For Jack, it was even extra special as he is the first amputee to ever walk the New York Fashion Week runway.

He wore creations by celeb fashion designer, Antonio Urzi, who has designed clothes for Beyoncé and Lady Gaga. He also went on to say that he looks forward to seeing more disabled people walking the runway and showing that having a disability shouldn't hold you back in life.
