Almost a year after the recruitment exercise into the Nigerian Immigration Service that cost many their lives, the Federal Government has now concluded arrangements to conduct a fresh recruitment.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Immigration, Chukwuemeka Obuah, advertorials have been placed in major media outlets for that purpose.
The advertorials request applications from suitable Nigerians for enlistment into the Nigeria Immigration Service starting from 9th February 2015 to 22nd March, 2015. the application is free and must be done online.
I just hope they get their act together this time around as last year's exercise saw over 500,000 candidates apply for only 4,000 vacancies which led to a major stampede at the various centers and some people actually lost their lives while many others were injured.
