February is starting out on a positive note in the judicial system as the Lagos State branch of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, has finally suspended its 4 weeks old strike.
This came about from the outcome of a meeting held between JUSUN executives and stakeholders in the Lagos State justice sector.
Confirming this, the Chairman of the union, Emmanuel Abioye, says the decision was taken in the interest of the state.
According to the News Agency Of Nigeria, NAN this means that the Lagos State High Courts and Magistrate Courts are expected to reopen for business today the 2nd of February after embarking on a strike since the 5th of January 2015.
