12 Years After Making A Falsified Report, America's Popular News Anchor, Brian Williams Gets Suspension

The American Nigerian Broadcasting Company, NBC has suspended  News anchor, Brian Williams for 6 months without pay for exaggerating reports from an Iraq War mission in 2003.

This action would be the first of its kind as television veterans can recall nothing quite like it. According to the CEO of NBC Universal, Steve Burke, it was an inexcusable action which has cost Brian this suspension 11 years since he took over the anchor chair.

Meanwhile, there is a possibility that he may never actually return to the anchor chair he has held since 2004 and if he does return, it will be in a diminished capacity.

As if this isn't bad enough, NBC's investigative unit is continuing to fact-check Williams' past reports, and could come up with more damaging revelations.

Until this week, Brian Williams was the single most popular news anchor in the United States with a reach of about 10 Million viewers a night.

This is a wake up call for journalists worldwide to be very careful!
