You read that correctly and it is no joke as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, NASA, is looking for volunteers to participate in their Bed Rest Studies and earn $18,000.
All participants need to do is to spend 70 straight days in bed and they are allowed to read books, Skype, play games, as well as use their phones and computers throughout the duration of the study.
The purpose of the experiment is to find ways of preserving astronauts’ health and safety during periods of extended space travel. The bed rest is a good way of simulating travel through zero gravity space and a more accessible way of analyzing the bodily changes that occur during space travel.
So again I ask would you spend 2 months just lying down doing nothing and earn 3.4 Million Naira?
