I guess its better luck next time for us in Nigeria as Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has lost out to Yacine Brahimi who has been named BBC African Footballer of the Year 2014.
With this new title, Yacine Brahimi has become the first player from Algeria to win the award. He is very happy about this and dedicated it to football fans in the whole of Africa while saying it is a big honor to receive the trophy.

The winner of the award was chosen via votes by fans from the 207 FIFA-registered countries and Yacine Brahimi takes over from Yaya Toure who won the last edition.
As far as I am concerned next year's own belongs to us...can i hear an AMEN??
