Public Holiday On The 2nd Of January 2015 to Mark Eid El Maloud

Asides the fact that today is the last day of the year 2014 and you are lucky enough to witness that, the Federal Government has declared January 2nd 2015 as a public holiday!

This is to mark the Muslim Eid el Maloud celebration. The Minister of Interior affairs, Abba Moro, in a statement on behalf of the Federal Government confirmed this and asked Muslim faithfuls to offer prayers to God for the peace and Unity of Nigeria during this period.

So another long weekend coming up this week right up into the New Year.....enjoy it folks!!
