This was in a statement issued today by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Abba Moro. Thursday, the 1st January 2015 has also been declared as a work-free day to mark the New Year.

The Minister of Interior also used the medium to urge all Christian faithful and Nigerians in general to extend the spiritual benefits of Christmas to their daily living and contribute to the development of the nation.
