Sometimes when you think about the traffic horror one goes through on the streets of Lagos, it could give you a heart attack especially when you can never actually pinpoint what caused the whole gridlock after spending hours on the road.
However, for residents of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, there might be a reduction of this traffic stress as the state Commissioner for Transportation, Kayode Opeifa has commissioned a multi-million Naira jetty, as part of efforts to boost intra-city transportation in the council area.
This initiative would serve as an alternative means of transportation for residents who for many years have been experiencing traffic bottlenecks, getting in and out of the area via ferry.
Mr Opeifa said a mega city like Lagos should have an integrated modern transportation system which uses good roads, water, rail and air as means of transportation for its people.
So the multi million naira question is...would you rather move around via ferry than a car?
