Photos: After Death Of Britain's Fattest Woman, Husband Appeals To The Public

A year after his wife who was said to be the fattest woman in Britain died, her husband Ronald Davies warns people against eating too much and getting too fat. Britain's fattest woman, 44 year old Brenda Flanaghan Davies weighed 40st and died of a heart attack  after being unable to walk out of her house for six years.
Doctors had warned her to lose weight or die when she became bed-bound at her house after consuming more than 6,000 calories a day.

Meanwhile 68 year old Ronald Davies, now appeals to people to look after themselves and get medical help especially when necessary. This is because doctors had offered his wife a free 12,000 Pounds Gastric Band operation but she was so addicted to food she didn't take the offer.
Before she died, she had a fridge next to her bed filled with chocolate and fizzy drinks, and would get regular deliveries from the butchers, fish and chip shops and the local supermarkets.

Davies therefore advises people to eat moderately and exercise regularly so as not to unnecessarily lose their life to a premature death as a result of complications like diabetes and cardiovascular problems from being too fat.
