It seems our students nowadays aren’t
paying particular attention to their education as they should, that is if the
results of the West Africa Excamination Council(WAEC) results are anything to
go by.
The May/June Senior School
Certificate Examination results were released yesterday and it was nothing to
write home about. There was a massive failure in English and Mathematics and you
begin to wonder what exactly is going on.
According to Mr Charles Eguridu the
Head of National Office, there was a marginal decline in comparison to the
2012/2013 exams.
I have noticed that so many schools are
springing up all over the place,is it that the students are not being taught
well or the students themselves refuse to learn?
Who exactly is to blame for this
supposed decline?
