In recent times so many scandalous stories keep coming out about 'supposed' men of God. I say supposed because if they were real men of God such stories wouldn't make the rounds about them.
It is actually getting worrisome though as it seems it is getting worse. In Montgomery, Alabama, a Baptist congregation got the shock of their life when their longtime pastor confessed at the pulpit a few Sundays ago that he has AIDS.
The shocker was that he knowingly slept with church members without revealing his status, abused drugs and mishandled the congregation's money.
Pastor Juan Demetrius McFarland has been relieved of his duties on Sunday after serving the church for 21 years. However, according to reports, some of his church members seem to be supportive of the pastor and are willing to help him in any way possible while others want him to be prosecuted as knowingly transmitting a sexually transmitted disease is against the law.
