It good news for ladies (like me) who love to wear high heels but just don’t have the liver to, especially those with very thin stiletto heels. An ex-orthopedic surgeon however, claims to have invented high heels that are genuinely comfortable.
Based in California, Dr Taryn Rose who is a 47 year old single mother of three children, has launched a campaign to fund her invention called 'Wing Shoes.'
The collection of heels, have specially constructed carbon fiber 'Wings' built into the insoles, which support and cushion all three arches of the foot. The wings kind of "flutter" as you walk to provide a pumping action, which helps blood flow back to your heart from your feet providing comfort and decreasing swelling in your feet. They also make you feel like you are wearing a lower heel.
For years, heels seem to make women feel more desirable, they make your legs appear more toned and elongated, your lower back looks more arched and your "booty" more prominent (and to me they kinda add to your self confidence especially when you are wearing clothes that are on point to go with the shoes).
The new wings collection will include flip-flips,sneakers as well as classic stilettos, platform stilettos, wedges, peep-toe sandals and booties; all in a range of colors. Prices start at 350 Dollars and run up to 1,995 dollars (faints). They are expected to go on sale by June 2015.
