Some bad news for football lovers
and fans of Nigeria forward, Peter Odemwingie
as he has revealed that he is to undergo a surgery for his injured knee
ligament.
Odemwingie is now expected to miss a
larger period of the current season following the injury he sustained in Stoke
City’s 1-0 win at Manchester City on Saturday.There are indications that he might
be out for 10 months.
He confirmed this on his Twitter
account and said he is sad to miss many games this season.
This injury has made Stoke City
manager, Mark Hughes, sign Moroccan winger, Oussama Assaidi, on loan from
Liverpool on the deadline day of the summer transfer window.
