Hospital Food Gone Wrong

Although hospital food isn’t meant to be of high class cuisine status, it shouldn’t be of inferior quality and taste either. When it comes to expensive hospitals, one would expect that the food served would be on point.

Unfortunately, this is not the case in a 430 million dollar hospital in Bristol where the food give to adult patients was of toddler size portions.

This was revealed by a photographer, Steven Williams who spent 8 days at Southmead Hospital and was shocked at the pitiful meals he was served.

He shared pictures of the food he was served by the hospital which is one of the first in UK to supposedly win a catering award. According to him, the food was horrible that even a dog would refuse it.

Since he made this exposure online, Simon Wood, the Director of Facilities at North Bristol NHS Trust has made a public apology to Mr Williams saying it was a mix up of sorts.

Hmnnn…I don’t even want to get into foods served in some hospitals here in Nigeria but they should take a cue and adjust any which way.
