101 Passengers Escape Death As Plane Catches Fire At Florida Airport!

A plane headed for Venezuela caught fire today just before it took off  from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida.

According to reports from CNN, this happened on the runway when the aircraft behind it reported that fuel was leaking before the left engine caught fire!

Luckily, the 101 passengers aboard the plane evacuated the Boeing jet via emergency slides onto the taxiway while the airport was closed as emergency officials responded.

Meanwhile, a spokesman with the Broward Sheriff's Office confirmed the fire and evacuation while stating that there were several injuries.

I don't even want to imagine what would have happened if they made it mid-air!
