Mobile telecommunication service providers have been asked (again) to stop unsolicited caller tunes and text messages to subscribers.
This directive comes from the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, today after getting a go ahead from the House of Representatives who said some of these promotional text messages were not only unsolicited but also carried charges.
The resolution was passed in unanimous voice vote at the session presided over by the Speaker, Yakubu Dogara.
