Disney World Pulls Down Bill Cosby Statue Following Scandal

What comes to my mind anytime I remember this Bill Cosby scandal are the words "Bill Cosby Don Fall My Hand!" which seems to be the case for so many people as Walt Disney is now distancing themselves from a star it once celebrated.

Representatives from Disney World have confirmed that a statue of the disgraced comedian has been taken down from Disney's Hollywood Studios.  This bronze statue has been in the park since 1977 but was finally removed yesterday!

According to reports, before its removal, the statue stood in the park's Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame Plaza, which also includes tributes to such small screen icons as Lucille Ball, Oprah Winfrey, Dick Clark, and Walt Disney himself.

The decision to take it down came after Bill Cosby admitted to getting drugs for the purpose of providing them to "young women he wanted to have sex with earlier this week.

Another celebrity, Jill Scott, who had been a staunch supporter of Bill Cosby, also expressed her disappointment in a man who she saw as her mentor over the years.
