American Gospel Singer, Marvin Sapp Becomes A Bishop, To Oversee 70 Churches


American gospel singer and pastor, Marvin Sapp, has been consecrated as a Bishop in the Global United Fellowship and will oversee 70 Churches in the Fellowship’s North Central Province although he still remains the Senior Pastor of Lighthouse Full Life Center Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

He was elevated to bishop status at an Episcopal Consecration Service under the leadership of Presiding Prelate, His Grace, Bishop Neil C. Ellis.


There was a huge turnout where thousands turned up to witness the event. Speaking at the service, Bishop Neil C. Ellis said asides being a gifted and talented psalmist and singer, Marvin Sapp also exemplifies extraordinary leadership.
