Paul Walker's Last Fast & Furious Movie Breaks Box Office Record With $143.6 Million!



19 months after the death of actor, Paul Walker of the Fast and Furious movies, the last one he was working on, Furious 7 has been released and tops the box office in its opening weekend with an impressive $143.6 Million.

This makes it the highest-grossing opening for any film in the Fast and Furious franchise. It also ranks ninth among the top ten openings in history.

Many people flocked to the cinemas to see star Paul Walker in one of his final roles. The actor died in a 2013 car crash at the age of 40 and his work on the film was completed using digital technology and a series of stand-ins.
                             
According to Phil Contrino, the vice president and chief analyst at BoxOffice.com, Paul Walker's death made this movie more intriguing for people who hadn't seen some of the installments and its success is a tribute to him.
