Out of curiosity, I asked a Bureau De Change operator how much the dollar is going for now as against the naira and I was shocked to hear that it is now N185.
This is really amazing considering the fact that just a few weeks ago it went as high as N220-N240 and affected the price of almost everything considering the fact that most of what we use in Nigeria is imported.
And before you start thinking it is because of Buhari's win(Lol), the fall according to some of the financial analysts, has been attributed to the release of the foreign currency by hoarders who had stored it pending the outcome of the nation’s general elections.
So if you have been keeping some dollars and praying for it to still go higher you better go change it now and for the traders, please let it reflect in your goods by reducing the prices at the markets.
