After months of speculation, former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton officially announces her candidacy for president of the United States.
She made this known in a video launched on YouTube and a newly minted Facebook page where she says Americans need a champion and she wants to be that champion.
Meanwhile, a campaign official told CNN that the video was shot in New York with the rest of the video shot in places including Iowa and New Hampshire.
This will be Hillary Clinton's second presidential run with the first being in 2008. She became a household name in 1992 when her husband, Bill Clinton, won the presidency.
