5 years after being part of the hottest boy bands around, Zayn Malik has quit the group, One Direction.
The 22 year old singer said his life with the group has been more than he ever imagined but he wants to move on and live life as a normal 22 year old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight.
He leaves behind Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson who continue in the One Direction band as they plan to record their 5th album and continue with plans on the band's forthcoming world tour.
According to reports, being in the group has made him 14 Million Dollars richer which I hope he puts to good use.
Meanwhile, One Direction have already released a statement saying how the years together have been amazing and that Zayn continues to be their friend.
