Yesterday was the first step towards the upcoming Governorship elections in 2015 and the All Progressives Congress, APC held primaries in many states around the country. While some people alleged foul play, the bottomline is the primaries have been held and below are some of the results that have officially been announced.
Lagos State - Akinwunmi Ambode
Oyo State - Abiola Ajimobi
Sokoto state - Aminu Tambuwal
Delta State - Otega Omerhor
Nasarawa State - Tanko Al-makura
Kaduna State - Nasir El-Rufai
Kwara State - Abdulfattah Ahmed
Taraba State - Aisha Jummai Al-Hassan
Ogun state - Ibikunle Amosun
Yobe State - Ibrahim Giadem
Kwara state - Abdulfatah Ahmed.
Rivers state - Dagogo Peterside
Time will tell however if they will be lucky to get the governorship states eventually.
